ABOUT SAM OYE
Rev. Dr. Sam Oye is an accomplished author, transformational speaker, and esteemed leadership and relationship coach. As a Certified Leadership Coach with the John C. Maxwell Team (USA) and a Certified Marriage Instructor with Family Wellness Associates (California, USA), he has demonstrated a profound commitment to personal and professional development. Additionally, he holds an Advanced Certificate in Program Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) from FACTFINDERS CSL (UK).
Dr. Oye’s leadership prowess was recognized by the United States Government, selecting him to represent Nigeria at the International Visitor Leadership Program, where he earned an International Leadership Certificate from the United States Department of State. His contributions to leadership were further acknowledged in March 2010 when the Mayor of Pensacola, Florida, USA, honored him as an Honorary Citizen of Pensacola.
In 2024, Dr. Oye’s academic and professional achievements were celebrated with the conferment of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Global Leadership & Strategic Management from the prestigious Queen’s University, Belfast, UK. He also received an Honorary Fellowship Award from the African School of Diplomacy and International Relations.
Known affectionately as Pastor Sam, he is the convener of the global Prophetic Prayer Hour and the Founder and Lead Pastor of The Transforming Church in Abuja, Nigeria. He is married to his beloved wife, Pastor Mary Oye, and they are blessed with two wonderful children, David and Darrellyn, residing in Abuja.
